WAST3D

THE UPCYCLING

PROCESS

Each piece is born from excess. Every detail is a choice. WAST3D is more than a collection — it’s a journey.
Every pair of jeans, every corset, every jacket is a manifesto: of care, of rebellion, of identity.

We don’t create because the world needs more.
We create because there’s already too much.

PHASE 1

MATERIAL RESEARCH

Every WAST3D piece begins with a treasure hunt. We travel through vintage warehouses across Italy in search of high-quality used denim — selecting only those with a story still worth telling.
We also collaborate with suppliers like Zerow, giving us access to deadstock fabrics left over from major fashion houses.
Forgotten, discarded, unused textiles which we choose to transform into something new.
For us, design starts from the material: it’s the fabric itself that defines the shape, the cut, and the energy of the garment to come.

PHASE 2

WASHING

All selected garments are carefully washed before being reworked.
Our washing process uses a minimal amount of water compared to what’s required to produce a new pair of jeans — up to 10,000 liters less.
It’s a small gesture, but a meaningful one: by choosing to regenerate instead of produce, we reduce our environmental impact from the very first step.

PHASE 3

PREPARATION

After washing, the garments arrive at our studio in Asolo, where they are dismantled, catalogued, and matched by color and texture. Each denim panel is hand-selected to create unique, harmonious combinations that preserve the original fabric’s character.
No detail is left to chance — every part of the jeans tells the story of its transformation from waste to resource.

PHASE 4

CREATION

In our artisanal atelier, each garment is hand-cut and sewn following traditional tailoring techniques. Every WAST3D piece begins with the idea of regeneration, yet it’s brought to life through skill, passion, and vision. No two pieces are alike: each panel is chosen to create balance among color, texture, and natural irregularities. The result is a garment with character — as unique as the story of the fabrics it’s made from. These are limited editions, crafted only on demand and made to measure. No mass production — only authentic pieces, made to last and to tell the story of a new, conscious way of dressing.

PHASE 5

DETAILS AND FINISHES

Our labels are made from washable leather with embroidered lettering. Each one tells a story — the origin of the fabrics, the serial number, the brand’s message. We use buttons and zippers recovered from other garments or produced with low-impact finishes. No detail is left to chance: everything is designed to reduce impact while enhancing value.

ZERO WASTE

Nothing is wasted everything is transformed. Every leftover piece of denim from production is selected, re-stitched, and recomposed. It becomes patchwork. It becomes art. It becomes a new beginning.

FABRIC FIRST

For us, design starts from the material. We uncover forgotten fabrics in Italian warehouses worn jeans, unused stock from major fashion houses. We observe them, touch them, study them. We use only what already exists. Out of respect. Out of choice.

UNREPEATABLE EDITIONS

The garments made with deadstock fabrics in collaboration with Zerow are true limited editions. Once a fabric is gone, that piece will never be reproduced in the same form, color, or composition. That’s what gives each one its irreplaceable value.

THE FUTURE IS A CHOICE

We won’t save the world on our own.
But we can choose not to make it worse.
We can create less — but create better. We can dress with awareness.
We can turn fashion from consumption into conversation.

One garment at a time.
One story at a time.
One conscious gesture at a time.
